All is set for the commencement of Igwe Nnewi YSFON U-20 Cup as the His Royal Majesty Igwe Kenneth Orizu officially unveiled the tournament at his Palace Otolo Nnewi.
The unveiling signified the endorsement of the tournament by the Igwe. The much waited tournament is organised by the office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports headed by a prominent Nnewi son, Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike and the Youth Sports Federations Of Nigeria Anambra state chapter.
Igwe Kenneth Orizu described the tournament as a welcome idea and an honour to him. He praised Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike the brain behind the tournament, he described him as a true son of Anedo. His Royal Majesty gave his full blessings towards the tournament.
A main organising committee for the tournament has already been constituted, the committee which which comprises of members from the Palace, YSFON, Office of Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Market Unions and Town.
Draws for the tournament is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th February 2022.
