The wife of Anambra State governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has condemned in it's entirety rate of violence against women in the state.
She said that wife battering girl child abuse and other violence act against women is a no no principle in the state.
Soludo said that any shade of violence against women would not be entertained in the state.
She urged the public to join hands with Government to fight pockets of violence against girl and women in the state.
Soludo said through the Commissioner of women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Ify Obinabo in Awka on Tuesday.
Obinabo made the disclosure during the courtesy visit of Nigeria Association of Journalists (NAWOJ) led by Mrs Frankly Onyekachi.
She said that the government would objectively look into degrees of violence against women and girl and document it for progressive actions.
She said that the government through the ministry has planned various programs that would aim to sensitise the women across the state their core areas of home Development.
She said that plans to address the issues of Women's responsibilities in home building and girl child need to be responsible in the society.
"Women are urged to take responsibilities of quality home rearing to raise responsible and patriotic people.
"Women as home builders are to be properly educated and enlighten on their expectations to assist build a good home and society as well.
"We are to enlighten women that giving out their children in marriage is for procreation and not product sold out, every girl child married should be welcomed home if the need arise.
