It was a moment of joy to the family of Nze Kevin Ugwu, a 75-year-old man who suddenly regained his consciousness and strength after bedridden for three years.
Ugwu, a native of Abajah, Nwangele Local Government Area, LGA, but resides with his family at Egbema in Ohaji-Egbema LGA in Imo State, was brought to the Centre for Psychic and Healing Administration (CPHA), Awka on June 6, 2022 when some people thought he was dead.
"I was bedridden for three years. I didn't know what was happening to me. My left side, from hand to leg was paralyzed. They were stiffed that I couldn't use them to do anything for years now. I felled on June 3 2022 and people thought I was dead. My wife and children carried me in a vehicle, and used pillows to support me by two sides.
"Some thought I was dead. But each time they called on my name, I answered them. I overheard some asking if I was still alive and where they were conveying me to. When we got to here (CPHA), no one could bring me down until a wheelchair was brought in and I was placed on it.
"My wife told me that it was someone that adviced her to bring me here when I lost my consciousness and people thought I was already dead. At CPHA, I was administered with herbal drugs and slept. When I woke up and vomited, I regained myself, sat down. After that, I started walking. You can see me walking and doing all I couldn't do before now,' he stated.
The father of seven children thanked his family, the man who directed them to CPHA, and the founder of CPHA, Chief Dr Mrs Flora Ilonzo (Anyafulugo) for coming to his rescue when all hope was lost.
Also speaking, the Founder of CPHA, Chief Dr Mrs Flora Nkemakonam Ilonzo, thanked God for using her to bring back joy to Ugwu family, as according to her, it was only the herbal she administered on him that did the wonder.
Ilonzo, who has performed similar healings in the past, reiterated the needs for people to be weary of their diets, because according to her, our food is our medicine and African plants and vegetables have all the signatures and antidotes to all diseases and ailments if we can embrace them..
