Obi defeats Soludo in Anambra State govt House, as APGA scores zero

The Labour Party's Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, Saturday defeated the State ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in a presidential poll held at polling unit 017 (Agụ Ọka ward which is in the State Government House).


Obi polled 61 votes to defeat APGA which scored zero vote despite that Agu Ọka and the polling in question is populated with civil servants, Government functionaries and others, whom governor Chukwuma Soludo had during official flagging off of APGA campaign told people to vote APGA all the way.


PDP also got 2 votes, while APC also scored zero vote. For Senate, the Senatorial candidate of LP, Chief Victor Umeh scored 49, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo of APGA 8, Uche Ekwunife of PDP 5, and APC 1.


For House of Reps, LP candidate, Lilian Orogbu, 51; APGA 7; PDP 4; zero for APC and one invalid votes.
