APC in Anambra congratulates Tinubu, describes victory as divine mandate for greater Nigeria

Anambra State chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC), Wednesday, congratulated the Nigeria's President-Elect, Alh .Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Alh. Kashim Shitima, describing his victory as divine mandate for greater Nigeria.


The State APC Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, who stated this in a press briefing at the party's secretariat in Awka, observed that Tinubu's emergency as the president was highly commendable as he according to him, the team fought gallantly for the victory.


He also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for leaving up to his promise of bequeathing credible election to the nation, and therein restored electoral confidence on the populace.


"You can imagine ,a sitting president losing his state to opposition in a general election, it is curious. On behalf Anambra APC, I want to congratulate the president elect and his vice , chairman of the party and all the national working committee for working hard for this success," he maintained.


The party also used the opportunity to extolled the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for giving Nigeria ' freest and transparent elections in the country,' and various security operatives who secured the country, especially in Anambra throughout the elections.


The chairman equally used the opportunity to appeal to APC members in the state who had left the party for one reason and other to come back to join in moving the party forward.


"This is the time to rebuild the party in the state and to further enhance the political fortune of the state. I call on those who left the party for one reason and other to come come back. I want to sincerely apologise to those who felt aggrieve to come back to the party. I want to invite everybody back so that we can assist the president elect to build a better Nigeria" he stated.
