As Christians in Nigeria joined others worldwide in commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Ambassador Sir Jude Ezenwafor has called for a teamwork towards restoring the moral values fast decaying in society.

Ezenwafor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Anambra State November 8 poll, who made the call in a statement also encouraged Christians to reflect on the gains of the Resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ for the redemption of our sins.

“All hands must be on deck to restoring our christian values and the need to guide our Children on the path of holiness as we celebrate Easter today,” he added.

He also called on Christan leaders to continue to pray for the security of Nigeria especially his country-home, Anambra currently wracked by insecurity.

“The death of our lord Jesus Christ Christ has brought us hope, Salvation and redemption from our sins. Our daily lives are testaments of what God has offered to humanity free of charge. We are thankful to God for given us his only begotten son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins to bring us everlasting life even after our earthly life hereafter.

The governorship hopeful further enjoined people to extend their philanthropic gestures to the less privileged in a bid to give them sense of belonging during the Easter celebration.
