The Ebonyi State Association Of Town Union ( ESATU) Anambra state chapter has inaugurated Solution Marshall amidst the forthcoming Anambra state governorship election come November 8, 2025.
The Inauguration which took place at Sweet Delight Hotel Awada Obosi in Idemili North Local government area witness a large turn out of Ebonyians living in Anambra state.
In his Inaugural speech, the president general of the association Ambassador Moses Igwe task the thirty (30) member committee drawn from the twenty one local government areas of Anambra state and thirteen (13) coordinators also drawn from the thirteen local government areas of Ebonyi state to mobilize all Ndi Ebonyi living in their various local government areas ahead of November governorship election.
According to the union leader, the purpose of the committee was to make sure that governor Soludo got hundred percent vote from Ebonyians living in Anambra state in rewards for his special love for Ndi Ebonyi.
He specifically mentioned the appointment of their son Hon Monday Nwokoye as acting Director General of Special Anti-Touting Squad Anambra state (SASA) and the Solution General Hospital New Heaven Okpoko which he said Ebonyi people are the most beneficiaries as according to him Okpoko is where most of Ebonyi people are living.
His words, we the Ebonyians living in Anambra state are happy with His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo for his love for our people which I think we can only reciprocate through giving him hundred percent of our vote, we will soon announce a date for an official endorsement of the governor by Ndi Ebonyi living in Anambra, he concluded.
The PG on behalf of Ndi Ebonyi begged governor Soludo to reconsider the removing of Abakaliki street in Awka which according to the only street named after Ebonyi state through out Anambra saying Ebonyians would be great full should His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Soludo reconsider his decision and bring back Abakaliki street.
In his acceptance speech the chairman of the committee Chief Jeremiah Ndubuisi Ogbaga assured that he is going to apply every possible means to ensure that the purpose of inaugurating the committee is achieved.
Chief Ogbaga enjoined other members of the committee to go out and be a fishers of men, adding that they should not be looking for Ndi Ebonyi alone but everyone that is living around them. “Go out and get people not only Ndi Ebonyi but every other person around you to enable His Excellency Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo to go for second tenure to enable him finish the good work he has started in the state, he maintained”
