Amiddle aged man has been arrested by some youth of Awka, Anambra State for allegedly sucking the blood of his children after giving them a strange mark.
The suspect, who hails from Nkanu, Enugu State, was simply identified as Fire Fire.
He allegedly committed the crime at his place of residence, Umukwa village, Awka, on Wednesday, May 21.
The suspect was arrested by some youth of Awka under the auspices of Okolo N’eche Obodo Awka (Awka Youth Council), who revealed in a statement that he used sharp objects to carve out strange marks on the head of his children while sucking their blood.
The statement was corroborated by a viral video showing the suspect with his lips stained with blood, his children and assorted charms recovered from him.
In the video, the suspect was overhead pleading for forgiveness, claiming that he was doing those things to help himself.
It was also learnt that the youth compelled him to untie all the people he allegedly tied their destinies diabolically.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, Okolo N’eche Obodo Awka, Comrade Ikechukwu Philip Ezenwa, had said that the suspect would be handed over to Operation Udo Ga-Achị for further investigations and prosecution.
