The National Coordinator, APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe has urged the National leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) to purge itself of any plan to foist the party candidate, Prince Nickolas Ukachukwu on Anambra State.

Obigwe, in a statement made available at Awka, Anambra State Capital, alleged that allowing Ukachukwu to govern Anambra State would be tantamount to taking Anambra State 35years backward.

According to him, presenting Nickolas Ukachukwu and his Deputy, Senator Uche Ekwunife to the President Bola Tinubu as reported in the media yesterday would not save him to defeat because the presidency was not aware of his emergence.

“Nicholas Ukachukwu will lose the forthcoming November 8th governorship election woefully. His presentation to Tinubu cannot save him from the defeat that is staring him at the face. Ganduje is doing his best to appease his conscience.

“The people of Anambra are already on a forward ever and backward never journey with Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo and they will crush any obstacles that stands on the way of their forward ever and backward never movement.

“No reasonable mind will leave a man like Governor Soludo that redefined governance in our State to support an empty vessel like Ukachukwu that has nothing to offer the people of Anambra State, it’s tantamount to leaving a place of merriment for a place of mourning.

“Anambra is now the envy of other States in Nigeria courtesy of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo worthy of emulation good work in our State. Those supporting Ukachukwu are enemies of the State and they will be defeated as common enemies by patriotic citizens of Anambra State on November 8. No vacancy in Anambra State government house,” he added.
