Stakeholders from Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra State have endorsed governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term, urging other contestants for the November 6 poll to stop wasting their time.
According to them, with the governor’s infrastructural development and rejig security across the state, it would be impossible for them to vote for another contestant.
Speaking at opening ceremony of Okpuno Community Youth office, the community President General, Engr Luke Egwuatu commended Governor Soludo for his good work within two years in office, recalling how he provided them with double lane road.
Also speaking, the Community youth’s President, Mr Charles Obidimma described Soludo as a Youth friendly Governor who had empowered Anambra youth through the 1youth 2 skills initiative and other programmes.
He supported their community President General declaration that Okpuno community electorates will vote overwhelmingly for Governor Soludo on November 8th and further said that other people contesting the election with Governor Soludo are wasting their time.
Earlier speaking, Evang Chinedu Obigwe Akaekpuchionwa referred to Governor Soludo as a God sent to Anambra people, even as he commended Okpuno Youth for declaring total support for Governor Soludo because of his administration good work in their community and Anambra State at large.
Obigwe further advised them to be vigilante on election day so that neither the All Progressive Congress (APC) nor any other political party would rig the election.
“Ukachukwu is not electable and that no reasonable electorates in the State that want the best for our State will vote for him. Try to fulfil your promise of using your votes to reward Governor Soludo for his administration numerous good work in our State. It is Governor Soludo or nothing till March 17th 2030,” he advocated.
