Two notable body of writers in Anambra State, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) have felicitated with the State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on his 64th birthday anniversary.
SWAN in a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Comrade Chimezie Anaso, described Soludo as an erudite professor, and a man of passion for sports and healthy lifestyle.
“We commend you for the efforts your administration is making to better the lots of Anambra youths through sports in the past two and some months. As you begin the journey of another year, we pray that the good Lord will bless you with grace and strength to continue to do more for the good of humanity and development of the sports sector in particular," SWAN stated.
NAWOJ, also in a statement signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika, appreciated the governor's efforts to implement the 35% affirmative action for women inclusiveness in his kitchen cabinet, adding that they know it can only get better.
"As you enter a new year of your life, we wish you more oil in your wheels, as reward for good work, is more work. May you wax stronger in piloting the affairs of Ndi Anambra with greater dexterity towards the upliftment of humanity as a whole," she stated.
