Don't sale your conscience, give me your votes -Soludo urges entertainers

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on Sunday, urged entertainers to shun vote buyers and reelect him for the next tenure of 4 years.

Soludo stated this at Awka after receiving endorsement from a group of entertainers under the auspeices of Talk Service Providers of Nigeria (TSPN) across 21 Local Government Areas (LGA) .

The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, argued that he has fulfilled all his campaign promises and would do more to improve the lives and property of the citizenry once reelected on November 8 poll.

He urged entertainers to mobilise votes for him by visiting their political wards and polling units to inform them of the good works of his administration across sectors of the economy.

"We have accepted your endorsement. Don't sale your conscience. Everyone is already discussing the good works of the governor. They are only blaming us for not talking enough about what we have achieved. Some are also saying that the governor does not share money.

" We don't share money  because if we do we wouldn't be able to achieve what have achieved within the four years. So, don't stop at endorsing Mr governor. Go on to tell your friends and family members about his good works of the governor," he added.

Earlier speaking, the Convener, Talk Service Providers of Nigeria (TSPN), Sir Shedrack Nnanna commended the governor for keeping to his campaign promises, which according to him were why they had vowed to be solidly behind him.

In a remark, the Chairman, Local Organising Committee of TSPN, Sir Abuchi Onwumelu assured the governor that entertainers would surely mobilise votes for him as they have members across the 326 electoral wards and beyond ready to act as his mouthpiece.
