Mr Godwin Ezeemo, a frontline governorship aspirant of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Saturday, joined others in mourning the departed veteran journalist, Mr Uche Ezechukwu.
Ezeemo, who was a junior to Ezechukwu at St peter's secondary school Achina, described the demise as an icon whose death left a vacuum in Media industry.
According to a statement issued by Emmanuel Chukwuebuka, Head Media and Strategic Communication to Ezeemo, it was a sad moment.
"I am particularly saddened to receive the news of the death of a friend and a reputable veteran Writer, Journalist and reputation management professional Mr Uche Ezechukwu from Amesi in Aguata local government area of Anambra State. Mr Ezechukwu who untill his death resided and worked from Abuja sad event occured on 26th February.
" He left behind a hug gab in the media industry as his voice and legacies among members of the fraternity of pen remain a subject that would stand the test of time. I am particularly pained and wish to extend my deepest condolences and prayers to His wife and children, the immediate members of his family, and the entire members of the Media family for the sad demise of this noble fellow.
"Indeed life remains a mystery where we all shield ourselves in camouflage, death still hold the key to unmask this mystery. I pray for his soul and that of all the departed to continue to find rest in the lord," he noted.
