The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Thursday, said it was not relenting in its efforts to sustain the partnership existing between the scheme and Independent Corrupt Practice Commission (ICPC).
The State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Blessing Iruma, who disclosed this while receiving a delegation from ICPC in her office at Awka, noted that the partnership would help both to sensitise the Anambra State residents on Anti-Corruption issues.
Iruma further recalled that the NYSC since inception has an ICPC sub unit in the secretariat and also ICPC CDS groups across the local government Areas of the State.
Earlier, the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Mr Godwin Oche, praised the scheme for supporting all the course to rescue the country from the strong hold of corruption and in lifting the nation to higher levels.
According to Oche, the widespread of the NYSC Corps members' offer them vantage positions to sensitise the public with a view to nip societal ills to the bud rather than handling them at prosecution level.
