Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Exceptional Western Kiddies Nursery and Primary school, Awada Obosi, Idemili North Council Area of Anambra State has reacted on the fabrication, image smearing and none existed serial abductions cum killings of school pupils inside the school, describing the story as not only unfounded but the handiwork of the school's enemies.
The PTA while speaking with this reporter on the school premises at the weekend, faulted the news circulating on social media where the school was accused of having harbored one Echegwo Samuel in the school for human parts distribution, describing the story as an attempt to rubbish the image of the institution.
Keeping the record straight, the spokesperson of the PTA who gave his name as Dr. Cosmos Ofoka stated categorically that Echegwo Samuel who hails from Oguta in Imo state was employed as a gateman, noting that the PTA is aware that the school gateman does engage in external business outside his engagement with the school.
"Echegwo Samuel was employed by the school management as a gateman and for the years he worked, no pupil has ever got missing or molested in the hands of the gateman, and one wonders where someone whom his children nor wards are not in the school should come up with a-none-existed, concocted and fabricated story against the school through portraying that the gateman use to lure pupils into one of the rooms where he butchered and had them cut into pieces.
"The fact remains the school gateman had an agreement with the school management that he was to engage himself with his private business during weekends and when schools are not in season, thus having made him rent a warehouse at number 62A Nwaziki where he sells fish and crayfish and also kept his alleged kidnap victim(s) and nothing incriminating against our school (Exceptional Western Kiddies Nursery and Primary school) was found on him when he was arrested by the police" The PTA proudly noted.
Urging the members of the public to discard the non-existent story flying on Facebook and other social media outlets, the PTA was of the view that someone might have been paid to use the barbaric act of the already sacked gateman of the school to run Exceptional Western Kiddies Nursery and Primary school down with emphasis that the image smearing article has motivated the school management to brace-up in further engagement of any staff.
Further investigation conducted by this reporter on the matter revealed that the school management is working round the clock, aimed at placing a sound security network in the school, having employed a security man with a confirmed identity as another security guard.
Efforts made to reach the Directress of the school at the time of filing this report were not fruitful as calls made across to her GSM line, kept repeating 'not available now, call back later' but a close source to the office of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS stationed at the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Awkuzu, confined on us that there will never be a backdoor escape of Echegwo Samuel in an alleged kidnapping cum selling of human parts he is currently facing in the state police command.
