The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr Somtochukwu Udeze, have commended Anambra State government for providing adequate security and enabling environment for the conduct of 2024 Council Poll.
Udeze, voted at polling unit 007 at Ogbaru Council secretariat, averred that security was a topnotch at Ogbaru and other voting centres as a result of the governor Chukwuma Soludo's commitment to free, fair and credible poll.
The Speaker further expressed satisfaction with the large turn out of voters in Ogbaru council area, noting that the electorate were happy that democracy and more development projects would be brought to them through the local council election.
He enjoined Ogbaru to continue to support the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in appreciation for the development efforts the government was making in the council area.
Udeze also appealed to well-meaning citizens of Ogbaru irrespective of their party affiliations to join hands with Governor Soludo in moving Ogbaru to enviable heights.
