Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Saturday, lashed opposition political parties in the State, arguing that most including the All Progressives Congress (APC) were not in existence just as Labour Party was disorganised.
Soludo, who stated this at flag-off of the party's Local Government (LG) council elections campaign in Awka, the state capital, declared that his ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was prepared to capture all the 21 Council Areas chairmanship and 326 ward councilorship seats.
According to him, APGA would win all seats on the September 28 poll because it was only the party that has fielded candidates for all positions as other parties were afraid of failure allow them to go unopposed at some places.
"LP is a disintegrated party that cannot win any wards in the state. APC does not exist in Anambra State; they could not field any candidate because they are afraid. Despite their calls for local government elections, they did not put forward a single candidate. They have ran away because they knew they cannot win a ward in the state," he noted.
Earlier, the embattled National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, urged party faithful to vote massively for APGA as according to him, those opposing the party were primarily interested in misappropriating state funds for personal gains, rather than serving the people.
