Awka North stakeholders support Njoku led APGA, pick Okadigbo as Chairmanship Candidate



Stakeholders in Awka North Local government  area of Anambra State have thrown their weight and support behind the candidature of Doctor Charles Okadigbo for the forthcoming Council election in the state. 



Doctor Okadigbo, a Community leader, philanthropist  and  political guru was cleared and confirmed as Candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance,  APGA , led by Chief Edozie Njoku for the local government election scheduled to hold on the 28th of September 2024. 


During a strategic meeting with all the APGA Ward/Local government Stakeholders, including former top Government officials from Awka North  the Ward Councilorship candidates , Doctor Okadigbo shared  his ideas and aspiration ahead of the local government election.


The Chairmanship Candidate  Dr Charles  Okadigbo charged the Stakeholders to double their efforts towards forthcoming poll to ensure that APGA geta 14/14 victory.


Doctor Okadigbo who  commended governor Chukwuma Soludo for his infrastructural development across the state promised that  he would collaborate with all Stakeholders including the mber representing Awka North at the state Assembly,  Mr Ikwune to attract more dividends of democracy to the food producing area.


 He therefore enjoined the people irrespective of their political affiliations to come out enemas  to vote for  Chief Njoku led APGA , for the overall emancipation of rhe people. 



The Stakeholders in their various speeches assured that they shall convincingly deliver the party at September 28 Council poll beyond expectations.


Former Top Government officials in attendance included a  Former Executive Chairman of Awka North , Chief Shedrack Anakwue among others.



Our Correspondent reports that  the people have continued to react to the ambition of Dr Charles Okelutu Okadigbo  to become Chairman of Awka North Local government area describing it as  a divine and collective project, as well as a  project that has gotten massive endorsements across party lines in the area.
