Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Tuesday, sacked the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Paul Nwosu.
Nwosu, who had been in office as commissioner since inception of Soludo's administration in 2022, was alleged sacked over 'incompetence.'
A source who confirmed the report claimed that he was relieved of his duty over 'incompetence,' adding that new commissioner for information would be announced today as his name had been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
Some journalists in the State could confirm that the outgone Commissioner had never for once called for a press conference talk more of relating well with them.
But another source claimed that the commissioner has been asked to write and submit in letter of resignation instead. This was coming few days after the sacking of Mr Chido Obidiegwu as the MD ABS. Nwosu was at Chido's birthday and book launch held at Awka last week Saturday but no one could confirm if it was among the reasons for his sack..
