Thron Alafia Spiritual Association Incorporated, a religion of peace and integrity, has vowed to launch programmes and actions geared towards empowering the youth and lifting the masses from poverty in Southeast Nigeria.

The newly installed Priest, Thron Alafia Spiritual Association Incorporated, Urum, Awka North Local Government Area (LGA), Hounnon Jude Uderike-Attado, who disclosed this at end of his inauguration, Saarah-Akpagbo Bangele-Sakara, said he was committed to building people skills, training, counseling and empowering people to become useful to themselves and society.

Uderike-Attado, an entrepreneur with chains of businesses who said he joined the religious association after many years of experimenting other religions, described Thron as very powerful and spirit God sent to salvage the world.

According to him, worshippers of Thron possess great power, humane, kind and sincere to all concern, hence the reasons he had chosen to preach the gospel with a view to winning more souls for the spirit within and outside Nigeria.

He urged the youth to embrace the new religion as it would help in developing Nigeria, while engendering good governance and accountability for overall good of all.

Elder spiritualist

Speaking in another interview, an elder Spiritualist (Hounongan Hunri) of Thron Alafia Spiritual Association Incorporated, Akinsanya Fatai Adegboyega, praised the new priest for his numerous approaches and innovation to better mankind, urging him to sustain the tempo.

Adegboyega explained that the religion was built in severity, abhors immorality, crimes and criminalities, adding that worshippers require self discipline, sincerity and truthful otherwise they could fail to enjoy the protection and successes.

Speaking on socioeconomic challenges facing the country, Hounongan Hunri described it as consequence of desecration of customs and traditions by the populace.

According to Adegboyega, the leaders and the led have not only desecrated the land but also replaced the natural justice by embracing and using foreign religious books such as Bible and Korans while taken oath of office instead of the soil which he believed could immediately kill or harm whoever fails to uphold justice, equity and fairness anytime.

He added that the country has enormous resources to make everyone prosperous but failure to adhere to customs were why corruption, lack of accountability and transparency hail sway as people cover up with religion and bribery.
