A prominent Labour Party Aspirant,Chief Valentine Ozigbo has criticized Gov Charles Soludo 's 'Operation Udo Ga Achi' initiative saying that it came at the odd time.
Ozigbo who was fielding questions with newsmen at Grand East Hotel Awka after meeting with his top major support groups;ANVO, Harmonized Obedients and COPDEM stated that for thirty three months in governance, Soludo did nothing on security until now ,describing the move as a political way and timing that will suit his re-election in power so that people will be convinced he was coming to work..
He advised people to pay attention to the promise but more attention to the promisers, pointing out that it is time people ask questions, think and vote the good people in power.
He asserted" My challenge is when people focus on promises and words that can actually be empty and flimsy. What I preached and still preaching was that people should pay attention to the promises but pay more attention to the promisers. It is high time people asked if the people are good because when the wicked are in power, people suffers. Today people are suffering and dying because the wicked are in power. We correct this by making sure the good and righteous people are in power. Don't allow wicked people to remain forever in power " Ozigbo advised.
As a quest in pursuit of a goal, the Labour party Aspirant called for unification among the three top support groups, saying that a house divided cannot stand and for one to succeed in the major process, he has to lay his foundation properly, adding that the foundation should be based on the fear of God, respect for humanity, peace and unity. He also said that winning was very important and the only way to win was to come together as one
