Nnokwa United Brothers (NUB), a social club at Nnokwa community, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State recently celebrated its five years anniversary with funfair.
NUB, founded sometimes in 2020 by like-minded youth whose interest was to unite all the males natives of Nnokwa with good characters and passion to provide humanitarian services to others, while projecting the good image and rich cultural values of their motherland.

Speaking at the occasion, the President, Nnokwa United Brothers, Chief Ikechukwu Obi, commended members of the club for their support, which according to him, makes it possible for them to provide succour to the less privileged every Yuletide aside celebrating their get-together.
Obi, however, said that NUB plans to provide educational supports to public schools, sponsor community football match, as well as provide recreational facilities in the community in the next five years with a view to harvests talents, boost entertainment and economic activities especially in Christmas and New Year season.

On his part, the Secretary General, Nnokwa United Brothers, Ọzọ Onyekachukwu Igwe, explained that they had through the club contributed immensely through promotion of value orientation, development and growth of Nnokwa, while anticipating to sponsor Nnokwa day, a programme geared towards showcasing their culture to the world.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Nnokwa United Brothers 2025 committee, Chief Obinna Nwankwo, urged other like-minded individuals from the community to join them in moving Nnokwa to an enviable heights, because to him, when united, peace and progress could easily be achieved.

Speaking in an interview, the Welfare Officer, Nnokwa United Brothers, Chief Eloka Obi, while expressing happiness over the success of the programme, charged the two newly inaugurated patrons and a mayor of the association not to relent in utilising their skills and good works in blessing the community more than they had done earlier.
