2025: group hosts 21 LGAs, strategies for Umeh's election as Anambra governor

Anambra State witnessed a landmark event today as the Solidarity Hope for the Future Movement hosted a town hall meeting with Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh, (Holy Ghost anointed) bringing together representatives from all 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state. The meeting, which took place at Awka, provided a platform for the LGAs to engage with Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh beckoning on him to go for Anambra state Governorship election, sharing their concerns, ideas, and expectations for the development of the state.


Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh, in his remarks through his representative Chief Pollyfaith Francis (Onowu ndi Igbo na Lagos) emphasized the importance of grassroots participation in governance, stressing that the LGAs are the backbone of the state's development. According to Chief Pollyfaith, Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh started infrastructure since 2010 with his money and up till now have already commissioned up to 15 roads. "In terms of education he has awarded many students scholarships, many has been helped through Heath care system including those that has been flied abroad for good health and in terms of empowerment, many youths In Nnewi South and beyond has been empowered including giving out 137 motorcycles to the youth and others and now we are out for the LGAs. Our philanthropical works has no boundaries.


"We must work together to build a brighter future for Anambra State," Dr. Umeh said. "The LGAs are the closest tier of government to the people, and it is imperative that we harness their potential to drive development and prosperity." He thanked the state Executives for organising such a wonderful town hall meeting and urged everyone to cue in to the journey of making Anambra state a better place


Speaking further, The woman leader of the solidarity movement, Mrs. Anayo Okoye expressed her joy over the philanthropical works of Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh urged him to go and represent them in state government.


In his part, The Director Romanus Uzochukwu Umeh Campaign Org. Chief Pollyfaith Francis states that the major reason of gathering together is to set a structure that comprises all the LG coordinators for Dr. Romanus Uzochukwu political aspiration. He assured people a positive change coming out from Dr. Uzochukwu Umeh for a better transformation.


The town hall meeting featured presentations from each of the 21 LGAs, highlighting their unique challenges, opportunities, and development plans. Dr. Uzochukwu Umeh and his team engaged with the presenters, offering guidance, support, and expertise to help address the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities.


The meeting was widely praised by attendees, who expressed gratitude to the Solidarity Hope for the Future Movement for hosting the event. "This meeting has given us a voice and a platform to express our needs and aspirations," said Hon. Engr. Echezona Uzoka, state coordinator Solidarity hope for future movement "We are committed to working with Dr. Uzochukwu Umeh and the Solidarity Hope for the Future Movement to build a better future for our people."


The town hall meeting marked a significant milestone in the Solidarity Hope for the Future Movement's efforts to promote grassroots development and empowerment in Anambra State. As the movement continues to engage with the LGAs and other stakeholders, the people of Anambra State can look forward to a brighter future, built on the principles of solidarity, hope, and collective progress.
