The wife of Anambra State governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, on Monday, described her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a focused leader committed towards delivering on his mandate within the deadline.
Mrs Soludo, who disclosed this at an interaction with newly elected State Council executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Awka, explained that the governor unlike regular politicians, would never allow himself to be distracted.
According to her, Soludo since assumption of office on March 17, 2021 maintained that he was elected to serve the people hence his concept of work, work and work.
She added that with the governor's purposeful leadership, before the next four years, the world would surprisingly behold a new Anambra State even the generations to come would be proud of.
The governor's wife, therefore, appealed to journalists to constructively engage with the present administration so as to educate the citizenry on its giant strides across all sectors of the economy.
Earlier, the State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu hailed Mrs Soludo for always supporting her husband through innovative programmes that encouraged homestead farming, healthy living and promotion of people welfare.
Odogwu, who recalled that her leadership skills and innovation was why the council honoured her as the “Most Supportive Governor’s Wife"and "Voice of the voiceless", urged Dr Mrs Soludo to sustain the tempo.
