Ubah's team led by Hon Kamen Chuks and Nollywood actors led by Mr Stephen Alajemba were on project tour aimed at ascertaining the giant strides of the incumbent administration in infrastructure and others, especially at Okpoko previously known as a slum inhabited by the poorest.

They had toured most of the link roads constructed by the incumbent administration, including that Obodoukwu road connecting Owerri road, Atani, Iyiowa, and others.

Addressing the team, Agbodike said that the governor aside constructing 9 roads with 14 others currently ongoing, equipped the Okpoko general hospital with modern medical equipment such as oxygen plant, stretcher, lighting, deskstop computers and laboratory, and 24 hours power supply.

Some units of the hospital toured at the place werw dental, pharmacy, records, Opthalmology, delivery home, oxygen, stretcher, doctors and nurses home, and 24 hours power supply powered by generating plant, petrol and yes.

He said the hospital operates 24 hours power supply even as patients data were being collated, processed and accessed with help of computer because the facility is fully digitalised.

Dr Agbodike added that the hospital like every other health institutions in Anambra State, runs free prenatal, antenatal and post natal delivery, including delivery through both normal and surgical (cs).

Sylverleen Uche, a native of Imo State resident at Okpoko, concurred to Dr Agbodike's comment, noting that the general has reduced the rate of maternal death and other fatalities previously experienced in the locality due to poor road network and medical institution.

She added that they currently access the water borehole and other basic amenities offered to the citizenry by the current administration.

The governor's aide, Agbodike later led the team to Oba drug market (International market) in Idemili North Local Government Area where Soludo was constructing about 20 blocks of shops and other facilities aimed at relocating ogbogwu market to a more secured, safe and reliable place to market their medicine products to customers from both Southeast and South South geopolitical zones and beyond due to location of the structure.

"This is CWC. A block here alone can contain all the traders at ogbogwu market. Mr Governor's initiative is to ensure that people have access to quality and affordable drugs. There will be government presence to regulate activities of the traders. All the law enforcement agents, especially the NAFDAC, SON and NDLEA will be here to regulate pharmaceutical products and consumables as empowered by relevant laws.

"With all these on ground, there wouldn't be more incidents of manufacturing or marketing fake, substandard or counterfeit products. Anambra State will just become a health destination. People will no longer travel to India to receive health services because they will be available for all at affordable and high quality rate," he added.

Speaking at the project tour, Hon. Kamen Chuks expressed happiness over the pace of works executed by governor Chukwuma Soludo's administration, noting that Ubah's political family comprising Ubahnation Media, Afa Igbo Efuna TV and others have through the tour which is inline with their gosimkamfunanya (show me let me see), seen enough reason to celebrate Soludo as promise keeper.

On his part, Mr Stephen Alajemba (Uwaezuoke), appealed to the residents to support the government efforts by maintaining healthy environment, keeping the facilities clean, among others.
