It was indeed a memorable occasion for citizens of Eziowelle community in Idemili North Council of Anambra State as gaily dressed men and women from all walks of life stormed their community from parts of Nigeria and overseas to witness the collation of Archbishop Dr Joseph Onyekachukwu Nzekwesi.
Eziowelle is the the countryhome of Francis Cardinal Arinze.
The enthronement of the newly elevated Archbishop Nzekwesi kicked off with an holy mass which officiated.
The entire members of Nzekwesi's family, friends and wellwishers expressed immense joy on his elevation and investiture.
While fielding questions from journalists they lauded their son's victory noting that is not an easy journey at all, but that God made it possible and saw him through.
They released fatherly blessings upon him to do exceedingly well in the vineyard of God Almighty.
On his part the new Archbshop said that he was overwhelmed with joyful emotions and that words alone can't express his feelings.
He thanked Almighty God for making it possible to be among the chosen for elevation.
He prayed for abundant grace to enable him carry out the functions and duties as an archbishop. To his family and friends he prayed and blessed them for their fervent prayers for him towards achieving this feat.

He was decorated by Archbishop Brinsley Dickson, who is the Apostolic Shepherd and patriarchal leader of United Baptist Faith, Archdiocese and St Ann Spiritual Baptist Church International, Archbishop Dr kene don ifepe the founder and chief prelate of the Believers Full Gospel Church, Toronto Canada and President and Editor-in-Chief of the Miles magazine international and other eminent bishops collectively joined hands to ordain him in Jesus Alive Church in Eziowelle, Anambra state.
