As the 2027 general election political wind continues to gather momentum, the Anambra Central Senatorial district, which is considered the political heartbeat of Anambra State has been told that all her youths and women shall be specially lifted once Chief Dozie Nwankwo(Onyendozi)gets elected into the Senate in 2027.
Nwankwo, popularly called Onyendozi(the great builder) squealed his intentions to contest for the Central Senate seat in the coming 2027 general election disclosed this in his Easter message to the citizens.
Onyendozi, a well known and loved grassroots politician noted that he's motivated to return to the National Assembly (NASS), this time to the Senate, to use his rich experience from the House of Representatives, the bridges/geopolitical linkages and exposure to national political dynamics he garnered over the years to the benefit of his constituents, the State and the South East geopolitical zone.
He pointed out that his years in the Federal House of Representatives built and equipped him in the art of negotiations, lobbying colleagues successfully and how to press for and get support for things in favour of the constituents amongst other things.
He therefore disclosed that women and youths in the zone would receive special attention with his presence in the Senate.
Consequently he solicits the full support and backing of everyone within and outside the Central Senatorial district at the appropriate time.
Onyendozi vowed to use the abundant opportunities given by the Senate platform to transform and uplift the social/economic life of all youths and women in the senatorial zone.
The Anambra Central Senatorial constituency comprised Njikoka, Anaocha, Awka North and Awka South Local Government Areas.
Others include Dunukofia, Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas.
