Anambra Organized Labour Assures HoS, Iwuono Of Synergy, Partnership

Organized Labour in Anambra State led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor has reassured the Head of Service, HoS, Anambra State, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, Esq. mni of synergy and partnership for a hitch-free industrial relations. 


Comrade Nwafor, Chairman of Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Anambra State chapter accompanied by the Chairman of Trade Union Congress, TUC, Comrade Chris Ogbonna visited the HoS with the SAC of both unions as Organized Labour. 


The Organized Labour came to felicitate with her on her appointment as HoS by Governor Soludo and to present so many needs of workers before her for consideration and onward transmission to the appropriate quarters of government ahead of 2026 May Day. 


The Organized Labour reminded her that issues of labour in the state are domiciled in her office hence the need for a simbiotic relationship between her office and the organized labour. 


Responding, the new Head of Service, Barr. Iwouno appreciated the organized labour for the homage and requested that an opportunity be created for people with disabilities to have an affiliated union with NLC and TUC for inclusivity. 


She assured a cordial resolution of all labour issues for a prosperous Anambra as the State belonged to Ndi Anambra, describing Anambra as a special State with special people in Nigeria. 


She appealed to the organized labour for partnership and synergy needed to enable her fast track government reforms being championed by the Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
