The Organized Labour in Anambra State has paid homage to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, urging her to place Anambra first in all her dealings.
According to the leadership of the organized labour led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor, for the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Comrade Chris Ogbonna, for the Trade Union Congress, anything short of Anambra's growth, development and progress is out of her schedules.
Comrade Nwafor urged the new SSG to ensure Anambra workers have a premium place in the affairs of the government hence her office interfaces directly with Organized Labour in all situations.
He informed her that the visit was also to familiarize with the leadership of organized labour comprising the SAC of NLC and TUC. He also congratulated her on behalf of the organized labour for emerging the first female SSG at her young age which demands collective support and solidarity for her to shine.
Assuring her maximum cooperation of the Organized Labour, Comrade Ogbonna informed that labour leaders won't disappoint, but added that she has every reason to ensure workers welfare schemes aren't' disregarded for convenience sake.
In her response , the Secretary to the Anambra State Government. Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake expressed appreciation to the organized labour for the courtesy visit and was hopeful she works harmoniously with labour leaders for the good of the State in accordance with the transformative leadership of her principal, Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

Mrs.Chiamaka Nnake as a former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning championed Soludo's reform for ease of doing business among others.
