The late Hon. Dr Emmanuel Soroku has been describe as cool gentle man with good heart for helping humanity. And a very good friend of the media, whom NUJ Delta state Council will not forget his good relationship with the union so soon.
The chairman of the Nigerian Union Of Journalist NUJ Delta state Council, Comrade Churchill Oyowe while commiserating with the late Emmanuel Soroku family when he led a delegation of the NUJ Delta state members to pay a condolences visit to the late Hon. Dr Emmanuel Soroku family house in Asaba Delta state capital. Comrade Churchill Oyowe while praying for the Almighty God to have mercy on the shortcomings of Emmanuel Soroku and grant his soul a peaceful rest in the heavenly kingdom. He admonished the family to try to keep the good faith and virtues in Christ Jesus, which they have learnt in the life of Late Emmanuel Soroku and that will help them attend to those good dreams and visions Late Emmanuel Soroku have for them while he was alive. While promising the family of the NUJ'S readiness to be part of the burial, he advice the family to please reach out and remind the Union when the time comes.
In hand to receive the NUJ chairman and his delegate is prominent member and Secretary of the NUJ Delta state and immediate younger brother of the late Hon Dr Emmanuel Soroku, Mr. Victor Soroku.
While speaking on behalf of the Soroku family, Mr Victor Soroku express his happiness seen his professional brothers coming to commiserate with his family at this time of bereavement. He pray that is shall be well with all members of the Nigerian Union Of Journalist NUJ Delta state and Nigeria at large for this kind of solidarity and support from the Union.
It will be recall that late Hon Dr Emmanuel Sorouk was a professional banker before joining politics. A Fellow Chartered Institute of Accountants , had PhD in Management. Late Emmanuel Soroku was a former Local Government Area Chairman of Aniocha South of Delta state and until his death, he was a senior special advicer to the Executive Governor of Delta state Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on community mobilization.
