It was a celebration galore at Uruoji Village, Nri, Anaocha Local Government Area, Anambra State, as dignitaries from all over the country gathered to celebrate the 2027 candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha (DNA) federal Constituency, Barr. Prince Chukwudi Oli on his 45th year anniversary.
The epoch-making event heralded with a thanksgiving mass, was attended by family members, friends, political associates, traditional rulers, party faithful, and well-wishers, including the Mayor of Anaocha Local Government Area, Hon. Romanus Ibekwe; the Mayor of Njikoka Local Government Area, Barr. Chisom Ugha; Hon. Obiadi Ndubuisi; Chief Cosmas Ogugua Agagbo (Eze-Okpaka N’Abba) and Chinedu Ononiba.
According to the Director of Ezeafia Media Team, Hon. Tony Oraeki, Barr. Oli used the occasion to reflect on his journey on earth, even as he thanked the God, Almighty for the gift of life, good health, divine protection, among other numerous blessings.
“Oba Ezeafia offered heartfelt praises and thanksgiving to God while expressing sincere appreciation to everyone who honoured his invitation and joined him in celebrating this significant milestone.
He also prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon all those who have supported him over the years.
"The celebration featured colourful masquerade performances, traditional cultural dance displays, and captivating Ogene music, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people. The cultural presentations added excitement and colour to the event, keeping guests entertained throughout the celebration," he added.
Oraeki further expressed his principal's appreciation to friends, family members, political associates, supporters and well wishers for their gifts presentations, goodwill messages, prayers of long life, continued good health, wisdom, strength, greater accomplishments, and success in his future endeavours.
"The thanksgiving celebration concluded with a grand reception, where guests were treated to a variety of food and refreshments in a warm and convivial atmosphere. The reception provided an opportunity for attendees to interact freely, celebrate with the APGA House of Representatives hopeful, and commemorate the occasion in an atmosphere of unity, friendship, cultural pride, and goodwill," he noted.
