The people of Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State have expressed profound joy and gratitude to God following the release of their illustrious son, Dr. Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwalu Aki na Oba, by the Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
The release has brought excitement and relief to members of the Oba community, particularly his kindred, Umuezenkwu/Umuoraelighoba, Umumpama, Aboji Village, Oba, as family members, friends, well-wishers and supporters continue to celebrate his return.
In a demonstration of solidarity, unity and brotherhood, members of the Oba community and his kindred paid a solidarity visit to Akwa Okuko Tiwalu Aki at his country home in Oba.
The delegation, made up of members of his Umunna and other well-wishers, visited to identify with him, welcome him home and express their gratitude for his safe return.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of Umuezenkwu/Umuoraelighoba Kindred, Umumpama, Aboji Village, Oba, Mr. Chinedu Okaome, who arrived with members of the Umunna, thanked God for making the release possible.
Okaome said the visit was an opportunity for the kindred to give thanks to God and reaffirm their unwavering support for their illustrious son, particularly after a difficult period.
He also commended individuals who contributed in various ways toward the peaceful resolution of the matter, stressing the importance of unity, prayers and collective support within the community during challenging times.
According to him, the return of Akwa Okuko Tiwalu Aki has brought renewed happiness and relief to the people of Oba, who are delighted to have their son back home.
The visit was marked by a warm and celebratory atmosphere as members of the delegation exchanged greetings, offered words of encouragement and expressed their happiness over his return.
The people of the community also offered prayers for his continued peace, good health, protection and progress, while calling on members of the community to remain united and supportive of one another.
The solidarity visit further demonstrated the strong bond between Akwa Okuko Tiwalu Aki and the people of Oba, as the community continues to celebrate his release and homecoming.
