The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Anambra State Chapter has joined counterparts across the federation to hold Road Show to raise awareness, generate media and digital visibility, and encourage registration for the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum (WPRF Abuja 2026) holding from November 15 to 22, 2026.
The sudden statewide environmental sanitation exercise fixed by the Anambra State Government between 7-10am, did not deter Chapter members as they converged at 10am for this national assignment.
The Anambra road show began from Regina Caeli junction along Zik's Avenue (Old Road) through expressway to Arroma Junction and terminate at Ekwueme Square Awka.
Participants were adorned in NIPR Branded shirts and caps bearing WPRF placards with different promotional inscriptions.
Addressing newsmen, the Chairman NIPR Anambra State Chapter, Dr Ngozi Ulogu said the initiative seeks to create widespread awareness about WPRF Abuja 2026, drive registration and participation, mobilise institutions, promote Nigeria’s hosting advantage, and generate sustained media visibility for the Forum.
"Anambra State Chapter today went round the town in promotion of the WPRF. The event was a huge success, as it elicited the desired response from the people. Anambra Chapter is preparing for the big event.
"I appreciate our partners, especially the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and professional colleagues for their participation," she said.
