By Okechukwu Onuegbu

The leadership of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) from across 21 local government areas in Anambra, Friday, implored the State Chairman, Bishop Moses Ezedebego to remain in power for the next four years.

According to them, the plea became necessary due to unprecedented achievements recorded by Ezedebego in the past four years he held unto the power.

Reading an endorsement letter written by 21 LGA chapters  Chairmen of PFN, Rev. Dr Stephen Ogbu  said that the State Chairman made the association and Christendom more United as a family than before.

"There is love, peace and harmony. More churches are participating now unlike before when there was rancour. You remembered and honoured those who started before us (our fathers in faith). You gave PFN a befitting Secretariat, our hospital a facelift.

"We no longer hold meetings at churches but Secretariat. Under his leadership, state government appointed most of us into the Government positions, recognised some of our hospitals and gave them subventions. Unity chapel at Onitsha Federal government college is ongoing and nears completion.

"His administration help us to come out of our shield in terms of politics as he organised political leadership trainings.

There is high level of accountability, integrity, vision and foresight under his administration. We want you to continue to lead us in the next four years," he stated.

Earlier at the occasion, the presiding Bishop, Grace of God Mission, Paul Nwachukwu enjoined the incoming governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo to get ready to offend religious leaders in order to provide dividends of democracy to the populace.

"If Soludo must succeed, he must get ready to offend religious leaders. He will perform when he gets ready to offend religious leaders. He must do away with religious politics when he takes over. He needs people in his cabinet that can tell him the truth and support his administration by doing the right things. He needs our prayers.

" If at least 10 persons from every Church can support him with prayers, he will surely succeed. But to do this right, everyone must also repent. Our church leaders must repent. He needs competent people around him to succeed. We need people who are qualified not based on their religious inclination or party," he noted.

Also speaking, the State Chairman of PFN, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, said that God has remembered the Igbo nation and would through Anambra State, extends blessing and revival to the country at large.
