The Delta State governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Tuesday, posited that the plights of youth and women in Anambra State would be better taken care of if the state elect the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on November 6.
Okowa, who disclosed this at the PDP mega rally held at Awka, the state capital, also maintained that the party governorship flag bearer, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, has good ecomic agenda to transform the state.
He assured electorate that their votes would count on Saturday, appealing to them to come en masse and exercise their franchise as their future would be guaranteed.
Also speaking, the governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, said the PDP governorship candidate would conduct Local Government election immediately, as well as create other jobs, while his counterparts from Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, maintained that they were confident that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would conduct a transparent poll.
On his part, the PDP Governorship candidate, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, said his administration, if elected, would uplift Anambra from where the former governor Peter Obi left it through massive infrastructural development, employment and others.
Earlier, former leaders and members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Young Progressive Party (YPP), and All Progressive Congress (APC) formally announced their entrance to PDP with a promise to work for emergence of Ozigbo as governanor.
