Sir Silas Ikeh a key member of knights of St. John International of Catholic Diocese of Onitsha, who also is a onetime market leader at international building materials dealers association market Ogbunike Oyi LGA and now a community leader at New haven estate Nkwelle Ezunaka Oyi LGA has applauded Gov. Chukwuma Soludo on his ongoing bid to flush out fake pastors from the state noting that the exercise is a good move to rid Christianity of charlatans who by their actions are painting the religion black adding that if the exercise will be properly handled without abuse will restore sanity in various Christian denominations and make most people especially the youths to realize that there is no way they will achieve success in life without handwork, steadfastness and discipline.
Making this known while speaking with newsmen in his office at building materials dealers association market Ogbunike Oyi LGA yesterday, Sir Ikeh a human right activist and a public affairs commentator while bemoaning the state of insecurity in the entire country, said that now is the time for the entire country to look at the issue of state policing stressing that he is convinced that the issue of state police if properly implemented will tackle the hydra headed problem of insecurity in Nigeria.
While also lambasting Nigeria leaders for not showing enough concern on plights of the citizens on the issue, he noted that it is unfortunate that right now that everywhere are unsafe yet the nation leaders are just paying lip services to the problem citing the case of current Oyo State incident where school children were kidnapped and up till today our leaders cannot hasten up to rescue them.
On his suggestion on how the problem will be solved, he admonished Nigerians to vote out President Ahmed Tinubu as well as any person associated with their party APC. He lamented that everything is now difficult for the citizens of Nigeria.
Said he, “Nigerians are now walking corpses, it is now from one hardship to the other, every institutions in Nigeria are almost dead, Nigerians should rise up and vote out president Tinubu”.
