Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been called upon to  intervene the internal crisis in Isuaniocha community by  going through the findings and recommendations made by a committee set up by previous administration in the state.

A former President General of Isuaniocha, in Awka North Local Government Area , Chief Tony Onyeagolu made the call while speaking with journalists in Awka.

According to him, implementing the Certified True Copy of the recommendations made available by the committee will no doubt bring about the desired peace in the area.

Chief Onyeagolu who regretted the wanton destruction of property by hoodlums claiming to be local security operatives , said many people had also lost their lives in the five years old crises.

The Former President General told newsmen that both his elder brothers Mansion, family ancestral homes and business outlet, were all destroyed and entire property carted away by the same people who Nigeria Police had declared wanted.

He noted that while some of the perpetrators were already in prison, some of them are still in the community, molesting innocent residents and selling lands and property not belonging to them.

Chief Onyeagolu  recalled that his refusal to Pa take in the sell of Community Secondary School land by one Mr Ccosmos Okonkwor who approached him , was the major issue that led to the crises in the first instance .

He alleged also that the former Special Adviser to the administration of Chief Willie Obiano and present Commissioner for Homeland Affairs, Mr Chikodi Anara was instrumental to the unending issues as he Pa took in the buying of the said school land and afterwards encouraging some youths to go on Rampage against all those who stood on their way .

The Community leader used the medium to advise developers to be careful about buying and acquiring lands in Isuaniocha as many land grabbers and their agents were in the habit of selling and reselling portions of lands to unsuspecting members of the public.

Chief Onyeagolu  while appealing for urgent intervention  to end the lingering crises, noted that peace was paramount for the overall development of any town.

He hinted that the Onyeagolu family was willing and ready to embrace initiatives and steps aimed at providing concrete and lasting peace in Isuaniocha community.
