A renowned philanthropist and founder, Tropical Gates Foundation for Sustainable Development, Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo, has urged Nigerian youth to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills for overcoming challenges.
Mbaigbo stated this at 3-days youth camp organised by the Corps Cadet Youth of the Salvation Army Imo Central Division, Nigeria Territory, an event held from 7th to 10th of September, 2023, with the Theme - Made to Advance in my Dream Seed," which saw no fewer than three hundred young people in attendance.
The Guest speaker, while engaging the youth at capacity development, explained that developing critical thinking and problem solving skills will empower the youth in their daily endeavours, as well as improve their communication skills and good survival strategies in difficult times.
Also speaking, Bro T. Great Ifezue describes the youth as hope of the nation who should be committed to the course of positive change and development.
Contributing, the Divisional Commander Imo Central Division, Major Emeka Uzomah expressed appreciation to Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo for honouring the invitation to the just concluded Divisional Corps Cardet and Youth Camp.
According to Major Uzomah, "We also use this medium to thank you for sponsoring the brochure of the program, taken care of your flight, hotel bill etc. We declare By the Theme of the Program, "MADE TO ADVANCE IN MY DREAM SEED" you will live to harvest all you have sown into the lives of the Youth in in our Great Division. Also God Almighty who you have devoted your time and resources to serve shall continuously place you on the Hight of Jacob in the Mighty name of Jesus. May the Shout of King remains in you in the Mighty name of Jesus".
Meanwhile the event featured biblical words readings, empowerment programmes, spiritual development and sports. Some Officers of the Division who were in attendance were Lt. Gaius and Jay Ezeanozie Division Youth Secretary, Lt Sunday and Precious Offomata, Major Eucharia Uzoma, Major Uche and Blessing Anumba (TYS/TCC).
