Member representing Ihiala federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Paschal Agbodike, has commended the Executive  Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo for his smart initiative in launching Operation Udo Ga-Achi security outfit to help tackle insecurity in the state.

The lawmaker made the commendation on Saturday, January 18, at the International Convention Center in Awka, the Anambra State capital, during the launch of the new security outfit to help tackle kidnapping and other violent crimes.

Hon. Agbodike, however, called on Anambra indegenes to join hands with the governor in riding the state of insecurity threatening it.

He said that managing the present security situation in Anambra State should be a collective responsibility, and should not be left for members of the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) alone.

Agbodike said, "Security is the business of everybody. We must come together to fight insecurity. We must stop politicising insecurity. It is very dangerous to do so. Fight against insecurity in Anambra is not APGA thing. It is not business of any political party. All of us must join hands to set the state free. Igbo people are not known for killings. This is new to us, and it is not good."

He further begged everybody to embrace the hands of fellowship extended by Governor Soludo to made sure that the new security initiative survives.
