Many people who don't understand the nitty gritty of politics do not know how elections are won or lost.
Elections are won with strong party structures or lost with weak party structures.
On the day of election it is only the party structure polling units agents that are allowed as insiders to partake in the elections.
Whether or not the polling units election results will be rigged or manipulated depends on the strong or weak party structure polling units agents role.
A strong party structure generally will thwart any plan by the opposite strong party structure to rig or manipulate election result but a weak party structure will always be overpowered by the strong party structure to rig or manipulate election result.
So all these pro party organisations or support groups such as Obidient Movement, Village Boys and Girls Movement, City Boys Movement etc.are merely to canvass for votes to win elections but cannot stop the rigging or manipulation of election which Nigeria is notorious for doing in general elections historically..
For now Nigeria has a strong party structure called the All Progressives Congress (APC) with a known party leader and rallying figure head who happen to be the incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presumptive flagbearers for January 16,2027 presidential election.
The question now is do Nigeria currently have an opposition strong party structure with a known party leader and rallying figure for the January 16,2027 Presidential and National Assembly legislative elections?Obviously No! To the opposition parties especially the African Democratic Congress (ADC) he or she who has ears, let him or her hear!
