The National Coordinator, APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe has declared that eligible voters in Anambra would reelect President Bola Tinubu in 2027 poll and vote massively for candidates of the party contesting for National and State Assembly positions.
Obigwe, who stated this in a statement, explained that governor Chukwuma Soludo's famous statement that 'Progressives are working together' did not mean that they should vote for APC candidates for all political offices because APGA would definitely file candidates for other elective offices other than Presidency.
His statement at the heels of a social media campaign poster by one Maxwell Okoye, APC House of Reps aspirant containing the photos of Governor Soludo, President Tinubu and himself.
"In Anambra, it is Tinubu for President, APGA for Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly seats. Governor Soludo will lead the campaign for Anambra electorates to support President Tinubu reelection and APGA yet to be produced candidates in Anambra for Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly elections.
"The progressives are working together declaration of our beloved Governor Soludo has to do with Anambra State government working relationship with President Tinubu administration and the undiluted support APGA under the guidance of Governor Soludo is giving President Tinubu administration
" It has nothing to do with Governor Soludo supporting APC aspirants contesting for Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly elections in Anambra. The general public should not be deceived with the drowning Anambra opposition politicians campaign gimmicks in Anambra. Anambra electorates cannot be deceived with such gimmicks," he added.
