2027: APC vows to deliver Tinubu, claim NASS seats in Anambra, sets up reconciliation committee

The All Progressive Congress (APC), Friday, vowed to deliver President Bola Tinubu and their National Assembly candidates in Anambra as they constituted five member committee to settle aggrieved members.

The State Chairman of the party, Senator Emma Anosike disclosed this at a stakeholders meeting held in Awka where they equally ratified expulsion of seven members in Anambra State for allegedly contravening the party guidelines during the recently held primaries.

The affected members were the State Legal Adviser, Barrister Richard Egenti, Ifeanyi Osegbo, Chukwudi Kenneth Oji, Arinze Awogu, Tony Uche Ezekwelu, Bossy Nwoye and Mrs Uju Onyeanusi.

According to him, the five man committee to reconcile aggrieved members of APC were headed by Chief Obi Onwuachu, has Ichie Mike Ejezie; Chief Amechi Chinweze; Chief Chris Akaghalu; and Chief (Mrs) Tina Aronu; as members.

He added that committee would resolve internal disputes and strengthen unity of APC in Anambra State ahead of the 2027 elections where they planned to deliver President Bola Tinubu, including their National and State Assembly candidates.

The Senatorial candidates of the APC in Anambra State, according to Anosike, were Chief (Mrs) Chibuogwu Benson-Oraelosi (Anambra South), Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Kene-Chiedu (Anambra Central), and Chief Kingsley Nnalue (Anambra North).
