Elite Sheriff Of Nigeria, has rounded up her South - South Zonal Summit in Asaba, Delta state, with assurance that to the people that it would enforce full tax compliance if mandated by the government.
The Organization is a group that presently has it Bill at the floor of the National Assembly, seeking for approval of an act of parliament to enable her function as an agency of the Federal Republic of Nigerian for the enforcement of payment of taxes in Nigeria.
The Organization which objectives is in line with the present government's taxes reforms agenda, is now waiting for the passage approval of it Bill at the National Assembly and the president of Nigeria ascent it into law and will become an operational agency Nigeria.
According to Dr. Damparit Dauda, the Commander General of the organization, Nigerians especially business people don't pay taxes and that makes it important to have an agency with a full responsibility of enforcing taxes payment in our country.
He questioned how can a government which citizens don't pay taxes do well by providing all the democratic dividend that the masses need, adding that someone who doesn't pay taxes has no right to question any administration of bad leadership.
Dr. Dauda promise that officers and Men of Elite Sheriff of Nigeria that is seeking from our country to entrust them of the revenue service enforcement and collection are Men and women worthy of trust,base on the training and formation they have passed through.
The Commander General praise the Grand Patron of the group, the Oni of Ife for all the good high spirited love the monarch has shown for the betterment of our country Nigeria.
The week long summit which was hosted by the Delta state command, had in attendance all the six state commands of Elite Sheriff of Nigeria in the South-South zone.
The Zonal summit featured intensive training, March parade of officers and Men of Elite Sheriff of Nigeria and the decorations of some of the newly promoted officers, including Obadiah Dung who was in- charge of the South-South zonal command, but now promoted and decorated as the new Deputy Commander General (DCG) Admin.
