The fast approaching 2027 general election, especially the Senate is not for typical politicians, but for the right people with drive.
It's for those with human conscience, feelings and progressive tendencies.
Because the citizens have had enough of bench warmers while others with plans/focus who speak out go home with other people's (Constituency) shares of projects, facilities, development programs/funds.
The above was the persuasive message of Hon Dozie Nwankwo, aka Onyendozi who is the Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Anambra Central district.
Addressing his political family who paid him a courtesy visit in his house yesterday, Nwankwo said that he was very amazed when he quietly monitored one of the multiple commissioning of projects/programs by Distinguished Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for her Kogi State constituents recently.
According to him, "since that day I have continued to task myself as I kept wondering how and why my Anambra constituency seem lost in the crowd at the National Assembly.
"Why are we so far unlucky..."
Nwankwo further noted that Senator Natasha, despite all the travails she faced that climaxed with a six months suspension from the National Assembly, yet she was able to make her Senatorial district the cynosure of all eyes in Nigeria with outstanding achievements.
She digitized education/facilities in their schools, hospitals' health facilities, security aids/services, road network, bridges, teaching/learning aids, scholarships, maternal/infant experience, such that people from other constituencies and states make troop to her Constituency to benefit from the top grade medical facilities and other life enhancing services there, free!
"So my question is, where and how was she getting the resources?
Why are we sending myopic, self centered persons visibly without any aspiration or concern for the youth and people of our constituencies to the National Assembly?
We certainly need drastic changes. We must embrace ebullient persons with zeal and hunger for achievements, history and records. People who have one way or another demonstrated eagerness for new things, new life around them in our Senatorial constituencies.
"We need go-getters, not tired, garrulous bench warmers.
"We need agile, alert, able/capable persons who task their brains round the clock on how to improve the lot of their constituents.
I therefore sincerely call on all electorates, prospective voters in Anambra Central senatorial district to vote for such person so as to lift and transform our people alongside the star-studded performance of our dear governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo. That's why I have presented myself to be elected. I have the drive, panache and commitment for the job.
It's on record that I have brought a Federal College of Agriculture here, I have brought a state-of-the-art ICT/Development Center here also, with five hundred units of computer.
I have above one thousand active scholarships. I have provided widowhood support to nearly two thousand women under my decades old women/youth empowerment scheme. I have provided commuter buses, cars, okadas, Kekes, sewing machines, skills acquisition scheme, barbing/hair dressing salon equipment for our boys/girls. I have facilitated more active boreholes, overhead tanks for our communities.
I regularly organize annual free medical outreaches that have benefited above one hundred thousand beneficiaries, in about ninety communities in the last three decades and more.
I have facilitated employment for citizens of Anambra Central senatorial district in Federal and State offices and establishments.
These are concrete achievements and verifiable records, beyond words that I started long before I was invited and persuaded by my people to go represent them at the National Assembly so as to further use the instrumentality of the office to do more.
I accepted and vowed to transform the families, communities, the council areas including Njikoka, Anaocha, Dunukofia, Idemili North, Idemili South, Awka North and Awka South Councils.
With evident achievements on ground all over the State, and banking on the massive political backing and votes of all the eligible voters, Hon Dozie Nwankwo, popularly called "Onyendozi", the Anambra Central Senatorial candidate of the APGA will record a landslide win of the votes in the coming Senate election.
He would consequently celebrate his first one year of numerous and exceptional achievements in the Senate with all citizens of Anambra State next year.
Therefore let all the families in the seven Councils of the senatorial district troop out enmasse on the voting morning to cast their votes for him.
