More stakeholders, comprizing traditional rulers, religious/community leaders, Leaders of Thought, professionals, youth/women groups from all over Anambra State, particularly the Central Senatorial district have endorsed the candidature of Hon Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for the coming Feb 25,2023 Senate election.


The groups who converged at Nwankwo's Campaign Headquarters, in Enugwu-ukwu, Njikoka Council Headquarters yesterday announced the youthful lawmaker as their consensus adopted candidate.


The stakeholders who spoke through their spokesman, Dr Christian Emeka made the declaration during courtesy call on Nwankwo shortly after their weekly appraisal/strategic meeting yesterday.


Dr Emeka, a native of Obosi in Idemili North Council assured that the upcoming election will be testimony for APGA, as the choice of Onyendozi, as Nwankwo is popularly called by political associates remain a shinning brand being sought after by all the political parties.


According to Dr Emeka, ".…just like other of our candidates,Onyendozi wasi carefully selected as he inspires hope, industry, expectation and great drive for a better tomorrow for all citizens.


" Onyendozi stands out in a world of his own on welfare of constituents/other neighbouring citizens, their health, peace of mind, and future of their children, and those of future generations.


Dr (Mrs) Joy Ikwuemesi in an interview with journalists shortly after the interraction with Nwankwo reiterated that the coalition would be very grateful to make their input in the needs and challenges of the constituents already being articulated and documented. She expressed deep satisfaction with the lawmaker's broadbased approach to issues so as not to leave any segment of the area behind.


She recounted that the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu who spoke at Oraukwu during Nwankwo's tour of communities confirming that Oraukwu and the whole Idemili North Council Area have benefited immensely from the APGA led administration in the state.


Prof Chukwulobelu assured Nwankwo that the people of Oraukwu will vote massively for him and APGA in the coming elections.


The President of Anambra State Association of Town Union ASATU Chief Titus Akpudo, the President-General of Nkpor Chief Emeka Mbagha, Special Adviser to Gov Chukwuma Soludo(Entertainment) Chief Bob-Manuel Udokwu, APGA ward Chairman for Awka-Etiti, Mr. Chike Ezeudoka, a Stakeholder in the town, Mr. Chijioke Agbayim, APGA Ward Chairman for Nnokwa, Mr. Okechukwu Chibueze and a Stakeholder in Nnokwa, Mr Ernest Okafor at the event revealed that during their assessment of candidates, Nwankwo emerged the most youth friendly and accessible lawmaker adding that his involvement in community welfare drive and development remain highly commendable.


The Senatorial candidate, in his remark noted that his candidature was an appeal by the party to build a synergy between Federal lawmakers and the State government to activate the strategic initiative of the Soludo administration’s agenda which is expected to fasttrack the developement of the State.


He stressed the need for the electorate to get ready their permanent voter cards for the election, noting that it's the only way they will remain true leaders in a democratic society.


The traditional rulers of the towns visited had on arrival of Honourable Nwankwo and his campaign train to their various communities, prayed that APGA continue to remain in power in the State and for the success of Honourable Dozie Nwankwo at the February 25,2023 Senatorial election.


The traditional ruler of Oraukwu, Igwe Emeka Onuorah alongside the traditional ruler of Ogidi, Igwe Alex Onyido and that of Eziowelle  Igwe Michael Okonkwo-Etusi were on hand to lead in the prayers.


The Communities visited included Awka-Etiti, Nnokwa, Alor, Oraukwu, Abacha, Eziowelle, Nkpor and Ogidi.
