Group urges Governor Ugwuanyi to release Boy allegedly arrested for seeking Kanu's freedom

A human and pro-democracy group has called for the immediate release of a boy simply called Kimsi for allegedly crying out loud against the continuous detention of the leader of Indigenous  Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the Directorate of State Security (DSS) dungeon despite several Court orders to set him free.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu State, the South Eastern Capital, the rights group known as Human Rights,  Liberty Access and Peace Defenders'Foundation (HURIDE) and Campaign for Democracy CD South East Zone warned that nothing untoward should happen to boy Kamsi.

In the statement endorsed by the Executive Director of HURIDE and the CD South East Zone  Dede Uzor A Uzor, the group said Kamsi was abducted by Ebubeagu killer squad in a commando style in Enugu State for condemning the manner by some Ndigbo to have forgotten  Nnamdi Kanu who still languishing in the DSS detention facility in Abuja

Kimsi was also quoted to have said that some Ndigbo were unfortunately chasing politicians around, forgetting that Kanu had told them that these politicians as stooges of Fulani oligarchy would not do anything for them.

We unequivocally condemn the Ebubeagu abduction as illegal, the rights group called for caution and unconditional release of the boy Kamsi without further delay by the killer Ebubeagu's killer squad in Enugu State.

We also want to alert the International Communities, EU, USA, AU, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and other well-meaning organizations and individuals to order the Enugu state government to immediately release master Kamsi unconditionally with a public apology.
