A need to respect judiciary while commenting on Jeff Nweke's Health Situation

Judiciary remains the hope of the common man. It is foundation for justice, law and equity. Therefore, any society desiring to excel must pay maximum respect to the third arm of government.

Based on this, we are demanding for immediate and maximum respect to judiciary at all times, especially with regards to appearance of Ozo Jeff Nweke before it on February 20th.

Nweke, a respected Awka native, was called by the court as a suspect in the alleged kidnapping of Benjamin Ezenma, alias Big Ben. His appearance despite some health challenge, is a mark of respect he has to the court. This was why it spark public interest.

As the court examines Nweke's health situation, backed by a medical report described by his lawyer as a consultant's assessment, it is essential that we respect the judiciary's process and avoid sensationalism.

The judiciary is a cornerstone of our democracy, responsible for upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is served.

As such, it is crucial that we respect its processes and procedures, avoiding any actions or comments that could potentially undermine its integrity.

In this case, public comments and speculation about Nweke's health situation could prejudice the judicial process.

It is essential that we allow the court to deliberate based on empirical evidence and expert testimony, rather than speculation or hearsay.

Trivializing health situations can have severe consequences, including undermining the integrity of the judicial process and causing unnecessary distress to individuals and their families.

Health situations are complex and multifaceted, requiring sensitivity and respect.

In the interest of justice and respect for the judiciary, we urge the public to exercise restraint in their comments and speculation regarding Nweke's health situation.

By doing so, we can ensure that justice is served in a fair and impartial manner.

Ubi jus, ibi remedium- Where there is a right, there is a remedy.
