His eminence Rev. Dr. Daniel Okoh the president of Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) and president organization of African instituted churches (OAIC) as well as the general superintendent Christ holy church worldwide has enjoined Nigerians not to lose hope as a result of hardship and insecurity ravaging the country but rather focus on how to embrace the good life which is characterize by obeying and serving God in truth, humility, faith as well as in spirit just as he admonishes all working priests in the vineyard of God to live an exemplary lives for their flock to emulate .
Dr. Okoh made these admonition through one of the priests of his church Christ holy church Rev. pastor Cletus Maduka Ugwueze the district priest in charge of Christ holy church Okpoko I&II Ogbaru LGA Anambra state who represented him during a sendoff church service of Rev. Geofrey Madubuike a former media aid of Dr Okoh who was transferred from the parish to Nibo town district of Christ holy church Awka south LGA held yesterday.
The Christian association of Nigeria president who sympathized with Nigerians on hardship they are currently encountering, appealed to them to always look up to God for help as well as pray for the nation leaders noting that God will one day as a result of prayers remember the country for Nigerians for things to change for better.
Earlier, while delivering a homily during the church service which was attended by almost all the priests in the district, the presiding priest Rev pastor Cletus Maduka Ugwueze highlighted benefits of people who devoted their lives to serve God and charged all Christians to embrace the work of God noting that that is the most profitable thing in this earth for man to devote his life for God. He gave example of people like Daniel, Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego, Joseph, Abraham etc who served and was rewarded highly by God for their devotion and strength just as he enjoined all Christians to serve God in various ways.
Speaking also, Rev Madubuike, a flutist while recalling how he was chosen to serve God and several hardships he encountered as well as how God guided him to overcome and become a priest. He thanked Dr Daniel Okoh, the CAN president and the others for their support and encouragement throughout and prayed for God’s blessing upon all of them especially Dr Okoh.
On her part, Mrs. Blessing Madubuike the wife of Rev Madubuike who also is one of the gifted supervising channels in Christ holy church stated that she will ever remain grateful to God Almighty, Dr Daniel Okoh, the general superintendant of the church and other elders for their support to her husband, and their family.
