A philanthropist and well-known academic, Dr Ikenna Obumneme Aghanya has stepped into the honourable Nze chieftaincy society in his Amawbia community institution.
The lecturer took a very befitting title of the Nze Ochiagha Udo of Amawbia. The name was in recognition and appreciation of his numerous contributions to the community, especially the less privileged as well as human capital development in the area.
Nze title remains highly honored and revered across Igboland. It's usually conferred on individuals who have distinguished themselves in character, conduct and integrity.
It's noted also that Nze (Dr) Ikenna Obumneme Aghanya has continued to live an exemplary life, using same to touch many positively.
Wellwishers noted that the tittle will surely encourage him more to champion the cause of truth, morality and integrity.
While appreciating him, the President General of Amawbia Development Union Ozo Chuka Odumodu and the chairman of Ifeaadigo Age Grade, Ozo Nwokoye and a friend of the age grade Aghanya and friend of the family deputy speaker of Anambra State Chukwuma Okoye said the honour was well deserved ,as nze Ikenna Obumneme Aghanya, ochiagha udo 1 of Amawbia has made re markable contribution to uplifting the community and as the chairman of Ezioye kindred ezimezi has placed the union on the path of accelerated growth and progress
