As Anambra State 2025 gubernatorial poll draws nearer, Ikemba Front, a movement of over 20,000 members across political divides, has endorsed the All Progressive Congress (APC) frontline governorship aspirant, Sir Paul Chukwuma for the top job.
Chukwuma, a philanthropist and educationist, is a founding member of APC and former Internal Auditor of the party who has consistently rebuilt and reposition APC, thereby attracting great men and women into the national party.

The founder of Ikemba Front, Dr Chidi Okoye, who announced the development at end of their endorsement meeting held in Awka, Anambra State capital, said they would work towards emergence of Sir Chukwuma as the flag bearer of APC as well as mobilise votes for him in the main election. The endorsement meeting, it was learnt, was attended by stakeholders of the group which included ward and LGAs executives, among others.
The action is viewed by many as a greatest challenge to reelection of governorship Chukwuma Soludo who is going to fly the ticket of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) given that the movement is the biggest in Anambra and entire Southeast geopolitical zone.
According to him, the decision to endorse Sir Paul Chukwuma was predicated on the basis of his excess capacity, including his intellectual and academic sagacity, and vision for Anambra populace.
"We know his is a man to beat in APC congress because of his leadership and intellectual capacity. He is a man with vision and capacity to reposition Anambra State. We have consulted far and wide and noticed that he is only on ground," he noted.
He recalled that as a founding member of APC, ardent supporter and promoter of the party activities, Sir Paul Chukwuma got the State and Local government offices of the party functional aside his other kind gestures.
"It was based on what he is capable of doing that the members of Ikemba Front moved a motion for his endorsement. The motion came from the floor members and was generally supported by all persons. I can assure you that he is going to win. And he will reposition Anambra State," he added.
He believed that with over 20,000 members of the association and 25 executives per political ward, the numerical strength of APC has been boosted and capacity strengthened to win the Anambra State November 2025 poll.
